Common Sense Media Resources

If you are looking for ways to engage your students in learning more about internet safety and responsibility, Common Sense Media has many wonderful free resources for you to use in your classroom.  You may want to start with the Digital Citizenship Scope & Sequence to get an overview of material that are available by grade level and topic.   Below are three lessons that will help you guide discussion and keep the conversation going about how to be safe and responsible using technology.  If you would like help teaching these lessons, or want to know more about using Common Sense Media in your curriculum, let me know

Grades 3-5 Lessons

Common Sense Media also has interactive lessons through their Digital Passport program, that you may want to share with your students.  You can set up your class account so you can track student progress through the lessons.  If you would like help previewing the lessons and/or setting up your class accounts, let me know.
